I heard an editor speak last night and mention what she looks for in a book: When you get to the last page, you want to read it all over again. Hmmm, hope I'm writing one of those.
Liz, I think the best PB writers are masters at this—think about those books little ones want to mommy and daddy to read fifty times before bedtime. Oh, to write one of those!

I'd never thought about that with writing -- I have felt that way after watching an episode of Law & Order CI, or a mystery movie.

Now to figure out how to put that into a picture book. It might be easier to do in a YA.
